Charles III the Noble

Charles III the Noble
(1361-1425)
   king of Navarre
   The son of charles II the bad, Charles III the Noble succeeded his father as king of Navarre. He reconciled with the House of Valois and was thus able to obtain the duchy of Nemours and the title of peer. He spread French culture throughout Navarre.
